Kingfisher Marketing to Target Nine Million Teen Drivers With EarthSearch's HALO™ GPS Safety Device Through Its School Enhancement Project

BEND, OR--(Marketwire - December 6, 2010) -  Kingfisher Marketing announced today that it has been engaged to implement long term direct marketing promotions to brand, educate and sell the HALO™ GPS device developed by East Coast Diversified Corporation (OTCBB: ECDC) through EarthSearch Communications International which develops the teen driver safety HALO™ GPS device. William Eastman, CEO of Kingfisher Marketing, has over 35 years of direct marketing experience with high schools and HALO's target market group.

Kingfisher's School Enhancement Project will be promoted directly through public and private high schools programs developed to promote teen driver safety through the use of HALO™. The project combines a profitable school fundraiser program powered by driver safety education and peer driven sales. The project requires minimal effort by schools or their internal fundraising student organizations. All promotional activities surrounding the program will be done through a custom link at EarthSearch's www.myhalo.us site. Parents, organizations and other individuals participating in the program can have a donation of $40.00 be made on their behalf to a high school of their choice.

"The statistics surrounding teenage car accidents are quite scary; the focus of the HALO device on safety separates it from most other GPS devices on the market and should be comforting to most parents," said William Eastman, CEO of Kingfisher Marketing.

HALO™ uses telemetry technology to help guide teen drivers during the early years of driving by creating awareness while they navigate those first critical years of learning to drive. Teen drivers are provided in-vehicle audio warnings when they are driving without seat belts or driving erratically (i.e. drag racing or speeding). The system will then advise the teen driver that the parent has been notified of his or her driving behavior. This data is accessible via most web browsers and internet-capable mobile devices.

HALO™ provides a solution all families with teenage drivers should take into consideration.

"In April 2010 ABC News reported that '40% of teens get into an accident within a year of getting their license,'" said William Eastman. These crashes cause one in three teen deaths. EarthSearch has designed HALO™ to tag along as a surrogate adult helping monitor and teach teens mature driving habits.

Additional features of the product include engine disabling, electronic fence monitoring and location services. HALO™ is designed to enhance teen driver safety while providing peace-of-mind to parents and guardians.
