Kinross Named to Dow Jones Sustainability World Index

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 8, 2011) - Kinross Gold Corporation (TSX:K)(NYSE:KGC) announced today that it has been named to the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI) for the first time. The Company was also named to the Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index for the second consecutive year.
