KIPP Houston Public Schools to Host Candidates' Forum for District D Council Race

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwired - October 03, 2013) -

What: The Houston Texans YMCA is sponsoring a Candidates' Forum for District D City Council Race. The event is free and open to the public.

Who: District D Candidates Confirmed as of Oct. 1, 2013:

  • Christina Sanders  
  • Keith Caldwell

  • Georgia Provost

Dr. J Thomas Smith, an attorney and host on KMJQ/Majic 102, will serve as moderator.

When: Tuesday, October 15, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Where:  KIPP Spirit College Prep (11000 Scott Street)
