Kirkland Lake Gold Inc.: Notice of Meeting (AIM Rule 26) and 2010 Annual Report (AIM Rule 20)

KIRKLAND LAKE, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 15, 2010) - Notice is hereby given that the Annual Meeting of Shareholders of Kirkland Lake Gold Inc. (TSX:KGI)(AIM:KGI) (the "Company") will be held at Suite 1028, 550 Burrard Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 9:30 p.m. (Vancouver time), for the following purposes:

  1. To receive the financial statements of the Company for the fiscal year ended April 30, 2010 together with the report of the auditors thereon;

  2. To appoint auditors;

  3. To set the number of directors at seven;

  4. To elect directors;

  5. To ratify and approve the Company's new By-laws;

  6. To transact such further or other business as may properly come before the meeting or any adjournment or adjournments thereof.

The following documents were mailed on September 13, 2010, and pursuant to Rule 26 of the AIM Rules for Companies, will also be made available on the Company website on that date:
