Kirusa Appoints Tony Garcia as VP Finance

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 22, 2007 -- Kirusa, the leading developer of value-added mobile services, today announced the appointment of Anthony Garcia (Tony) as the Vice President Finance.

Tony brings to Kirusa over 25 years of experience in financial and operational management. He holds a BA in Economics from Princeton University, an MBA degree from Harvard Business School, and is a Certified Treasury Professional.

Tony has earlier worked as VP of Finance for Formity Systems, a telecom expense management firm, served as COO/CFO of Balistica, Inc. and as Director of Group Investments for Breen Capital Group where he provided financial, strategic, and operational oversight to several start-up companies. For the past 16 years, Tony has also served as an independent director of Allied Capital Corp. (NYSE: ALD), a publicly-traded private equity firm with a portfolio of $4.5 billion as of September 30, 2006. Tony will continue his role as a director of Allied Capital, where he also serves on the Audit Committee and as Chairman of the Compensation Committee.
