KISSmetrics Strengthens Management Team With Addition of Chad Malchow as CRO

Company Ramps Up Management Team as Revenue Increases

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Nov 18, 2013) -  KISSmetrics, a customer intelligence and analytics platform, announced today the addition of Chad Malchow to its executive team. Malchow, who boasts nearly two decades of experience in sales and client relations, joins the company's growing team as it looks to expand following a $7 million Series B round of funding.

KISSmetrics offers an advanced customer intelligence platform for mid-sized and enterprise businesses that allows them to gather more actionable data from their website and mobile apps . Businesses can then translate this information into opportunities to enhance customer experience and increase revenue.

Malchow is the latest in a series of strategic management hires as the company looks to continue to ramp its growth, including its first acquisition in February of open source security startup SourceNinja. Since its launch in May 2008, the company has raised more than $13 million in funding.

In his previous role as Return Path's Vice President of Sales and Client Services - North America, Malchow led the client services division with the goal of building a culture of excellence. Over Chad's 13 year tenure with ReturnPath, revenue grew to $70 million with over 35% year to year growth in the past five years. Chad doubled the sales and customer service team to seventy members and launched a number of customer intelligence services critical to the ensuing growth of the company.

Malchow has also previously held managerial positions with both Hershey's and McLane, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc.
