Knightscove Media Corp.'s Production Arm Signs Deal With Entertainment One for TV Series "Port Hope"

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 20, 2010) - Knightscove Media Corp. ("Knightscove") (TSX VENTURE:KC.A)(TSX VENTURE:KC.B) is pleased to announce that its production arm, Knightscove Family Films Inc. ("KFF") has signed a deal memo with Canadian production company Entertainment One Television ("eOne") to jointly develop "Port Hope" a family friendly television series.

"We are extremely excited to embark on this series with Entertainment One", says Knightscove President and CEO Leif Bristow. "eOne has rapidly become the dominant 'studio' in Canada with a unique team of creative and marketing talents that is enviable throughout the industry. They have a keen eye for product which engages and captivates audience appreciation. Through film franchises such as 'Twilight' and its current hit TV series 'Rookie Blue', eOne has rapidly become a major provider of content. It is our hope that "Port Hope" becomes the first in a group of creative projects that we will undertake between the companies."

"Port Hope" is co-created by KFF CEO and President, Leif Bristow, who recently completed directing his feature film "SOPHIE" which will be released in Canadian Theaters in Spring 2011 and Gemini Award winning Canadian writer Heather Conkie, who's most recent project, CBC's "Heartland" is currently in its third season. The series is a one hour family drama about the Gilberts, a family that lives on a large, century old farm on the outskirts of Port Hope. In the tradition of great family series such as "The Waltons", "7th Heaven" and "Little House on the Prairie", it is believed that the current global markets will readily embrace this positive family series.
