KnuEdge Appoints Kate Dilligan as Head of KnuVerse to Drive Development of Transformational Voice Recognition and Authentication Technology

Founding KnuEdge Team Member to Focus on Delivering Voice Solutions for Data Security and Data Privacy

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 20, 2016) - Neural technology innovation company KnuEdge™ today announced that Kate Dilligan has been named Executive Vice President and General Manager of KnuVerse, its military-grade voice recognition and authentication technology division. In June, following a decade in stealth, Dilligan led KnuVerse through the launch of its industry-changing biometric technology. In her new role, Dilligan will continue to pilot the KnuVerse product roadmap, and fulfill the company vision to deliver complete voice solutions focused on data security and data privacy.

"Technology in and of itself does not do anything; it is only useful if it solves a problem. This philosophy is one Kate has employed as she helped grow KnuVerse from an idea to the current products," said Dan Goldin, founder and CEO of KnuEdge. "Kate challenges her teams to think differently, which is motivated by her own inherent interest in transforming how humans interact with machines. In this new position, she will continue elevating the voice authentication market, bringing its power to new industries and verticals."

In her new role, Dilligan will lead the development of the product suite that allows users to customize their voice authentication software whether using the cloud-based API, enterprise software or both to work in real-world environments. Her goal is to create a set of tools that will meet the needs of every use-case, from government to hospitality, and can perform in noisy environments with any microphone.

Dilligan was employee number one at KnuVerse, and has been with the company since its founding in 2005. She joined the company after receiving a Master's of Business Administration from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Prior to KnuVerse, Dilligan served as director of finance for multiple congressional campaigns.
