KOCH Records to Release Strawberry Shortcake's "Music For Dress Up Days" on September 20, 2005

NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 8, 2005 -- KOCH Records, in partnership with DIC Entertainment and American Greetings, continues to celebrate the enormously successful re-launch of the Strawberry Shortcake brand with her third full-length CD, "Music For Dress Up Days." The album will be released on the KOCH Kids imprint on September 20th.

"Music For Dress Up Days" compiles the soundtracks from recent and upcoming releases of Fox Home Entertainment's enormously popular and highly successful Strawberry Shortcake series of DVDs and videos which have sold over 6.5 million units to date.

Specifically, "Music For Dress Up Days" contains music from the upcoming Fox video release of "Dress Up Days" (to be released on October 18th) and Strawberry Shortcake's "Moonlight Mysteries" (to be released on August 30th), as well as from the 2004's Fox video release Strawberry Shortcake's "Best Pets Yet."

The new CD includes 17 upbeat music tracks, a colorful 24-page booklet complete with all the lyrics and a special enhanced-CD program featuring two Strawberry Shortcake music videos, video previews of toys and special internet links.

Strawberry Shortcake's "Music For Dress Up Days" offers children valuable lessons and positive messages, while at the same time, encouraging plenty of singing and dancing.

The previous Strawberry Shortcake CD releases from KOCH Records, "Strawberry Jams," "Berry Merry Christmas" and "Seaberry Beach Party Music," have collectively sold over 300,000 units. Both the non-seasonal titles are consistently on Billboard's Kid Audio Chart as well.

Since re-launching in 2003, the Strawberry Shortcake brand has generated over $750 million dollars at retail across all categories, positioning the licensed character as one of the hottest children's properties in today's marketplace.
