KOCH Records and The Twisted Group to Release "The Secret Art of Science 2: Then and Now" by Acclaimed DJ DB on October 30th, 2007

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - August 29, 2007) - KOCH Records and The Twisted Group announce the release of "The Secret Art of Science 2: Then and Now," by acclaimed DJ DB. This compilation is the follow up to his 2001 compilation "The Secret Art of Science," which critics called the "Best Chill Drum & Bass Album Ever!"

Arriving in New York from London in '89, it could be argued that no one has done more for Drum & Bass in America than DB. First with his hardcore Breakbeat club NASA (featured in the Larry Clark film "Kids"), then by launching Sm:)e communications and releasing the first Jungle singles & compilations in the U.S, as well as signing DJ Dara, thus kickstarting his career as an artist. He & Dara then opened Breakbeat Science, dedicated to Drum & Bass. It quickly became not only the most respected record store, label & street-wear clothing brand, but also the very epicenter of the jungle community in the U.S. He even designed & manufactured a toy for the brand.

He recently released an artist project with partner Stakka, under the name Ror-Shak, focusing & pushing the limits on the more musical side of the genre which, as a DJ, is what DB has become best loved for.

"Secret Art of Science 2" will be DB's 13th mix CD in as many years. This time DB takes us way back to the origins of chill drum & bass in the mid '90s with the first half of the album, then jets us into the present & future, picking from some of his favorite current producers for the second half.

DB has also established an extraordinary club night in NYC (also called the Secret Night of Science) which is celebrating its one year anniversary.

DB is also a partner in both the cutting edge men's lifestyle shop BBlessing, & the multimedia & record label Deaf Dumb & Blind Recordings. When he has a second to spare, he spends it with his wife & two small children, or tries to sleep.

The tracklisting is:

1. Danny Breaks - Droppin Science, Vol. 2 (EZ Rollers Remix)
2. Dave Wallace - Expressions Pt. 1
3. Alex Reece - Pulp Fiction
