Kodak and MMRGlobal Sign Private Label Equipment Purchase Agreement

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - Jul 25, 2011) - MMRGlobal, Inc. (OTCBB: MMRF) ("MMR") a leading provider of health IT products and services, including the MyMedicalRecords Personal Health Record (PHR) for use by consumers and healthcare professionals and MMRPro for physicians and hospitals, today announced the signing of a definitive purchase agreement with Kodak for a customized private label version of Kodak's Scan Station Pro 550. The agreement calls for MMRGlobal to purchase a minimum of 135 MMRPro-ready Scan Station Pro 550's representing approximately three million dollars in MMRPro system sales over the initial term plus the potential of millions more in MMRPro Stimulus Program revenue over additional years.

The agreement calls for deliveries starting immediately. The customized product will be manufactured by Kodak exclusively for MMRGlobal and marketed as part of the MMRPro document management and imaging system (www.mmrprovideos.com). The system comes with a version of KODAK's Capture Pro Software, which when combined with MMR's proprietary healthcare software platform enables physicians to easily and cost-effectively digitize, archive and share patient charts.

Earlier this month, the Company announced a contract for the 30 MMRPro systems, a portion of which were shipped in the second quarter, using the MMRPro 520MDP system. MMRGlobal is planning on shipping the remaining portion of the order using the new private label product.

"Kodak and MMRGlobal have been working on the release of a customized private label solution for over a year," said Robert H. Lorsch, Chairman and CEO of MMRGlobal. "The plan is to offer the best entry-level solution with the best in document management and imaging for healthcare professionals with MMRPro. The system allows physicians to have ready access to all their patient records on a PC, Mac, iPad or smartphone, anywhere at any time, making MMRPro one of the most versatile entry-level solutions to the implementation of an EMR system in a medical office."

"Kodak continues to work with specialized solution providers like MMRGlobal to combine Kodak's scanning systems with healthcare solutions that are aligned with the needs of healthcare professionals working to meet the rising demands and expectations of their patients," said Tony Barbeau, General Manager, Document Imaging, Kodak's Business Solutions and Services Group.

The MMRPro Solution allows physicians to make updates to patient files via fax, email, file upload or telephone through secure, staff-based permissions. The Web-based system also enables patients to securely access their medical records and other critical information in real-time through an integrated patient portal.

The MMRPro Solution also comes with the MMR Stimulus Program (http://video.mmrcontent.com/pro_teaser). The program gives healthcare professionals the opportunity to receive more money in three years than the government stimulus program which pays $44,000 over five years. The MMR Program also does not require physicians to accept Medicare.

Additionally, all MMRPro healthcare professionals and their patients receive protection under MMRGlobal's million dollar Cyber Liability Insurance Program. This includes protection for MMRPro users from actual loss or damage caused in defending a violation of the expanded HIPAA regulations under HITECH. The underlying Cyber Liability policy is underwritten by an A-rated insurance company by A.M. Best and coverage extends to MMRGlobal's corporate clients that offer MMR's products and services and to individuals who sign up to receive MMR's services over the Internet.
