Kodak Apps to Make Worldwide doddle Premiere

PALM BEACH, FL--(Marketwire - March 9, 2011) - doddle, a mobile digital database of filmmaking resources, will be offering several features of the recently released KODAK Cinema Tools for the iPhone and Android™. Filmmakers around the globe who already use doddle products will be able to access the KODAK Film Calculator and Contact a Sales Representative apps.

The KODAK Film Calculator makes it extremely convenient for filmmakers to determine the running time for any length of film in any format, or how much film is needed for a specific duration, making complex mathematical calculations quickly and easily.

Also available through doddle will be the KODAK Contact a Sales Representative application, which connects filmmakers with Kodak offices around the world at the touch of a button.

Users will have access to download the full KODAK Cinema Tools app, and will also be able to upgrade other Kodak mobile tools, right inside of the doddle app. The Kodak features are expected to unveil on doddle in mid-March 2011.

KODAK Cinema Tools are the perfect companion to productivity tools that doddle has available to help filmmakers access resources to finish their film and TV projects. For instance, in the doddlePRO app, Digital Call Sheets were unveiled in January 2011 during the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. These patent-pending call sheets can be created on one's iPhone and distributed instantly, through the doddlePRO app or through e-mail, to every cast and crew member of a film or television project. doddle is seeking to achieve paperless productions.

"We feel fortunate and humbled by the fact that a great company like Kodak recognizes our vision, which is to make the most sophisticated mobile filmmaking tools available to everyone involved in the industry," said Jim Robertson, one of the co-creators of doddle.

"Filmmaking is a global industry, and our objective is in sync with doddle's goal to bring useful mobile tools to filmmakers' fingertips at any time or any place," says Lauren Lung, regional general manager & vice president, Entertainment Imaging. "The KODAK Film Calculator and Contact a Sales Representative apps are designed to provide quick, accurate information, and to help our customers connect with us, so we can provide the products and services they need to best complete their projects."

Earlier this year, doddle co-hosted Kodak's annual party at the Sundance Film Festival 2011, which was attended by over 500 people.
