KOMO 4 TV Dominates the Northwest Regional Emmys

Honored With Coveted Station Excellence Award and Best Morning and Evening Newscasts

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwired - Jul 8, 2013) - Fisher Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: FSCI) announced today that its flagship station in Seattle, KOMO 4 News, won 15 Regional Emmys, including the most prestigious Station Excellence Award.

For the second year in a row KOMO 4 won Best Evening Newscast, and for the third year in a row, the station won Best Morning Newscast.

KOMO 4 was also recognized with Emmys for Continuing Coverage, News Special, Promotions, Political Reporting, Environmental Reporting, Feature Reporting, Business/Consumer Reporting, Newscast Producing and Anchoring.

In addition, KOMO 4 Creative Services was recognized with two national Promax Silver awards in marketing for Writing and Design.
