April 11, 2016 09:00 ET Online Quoting Tool Launched to Sell Quick Ship Industrial Cranes Is a New Channel to Order Quick Ship Industrial Cranes Online for Delivery in Just Four Weeks

SPRINGFIELD, OH--(Marketwired - April 11, 2016) - In a bold move that leverages its reputation for quality and service, leading overhead crane manufacturer Konecranes has introduced, a fast-track online order process for its Quick Ship industrial crane line. The offer is valid in the United States and Canada, conveying a complete, competitively priced single-girder CXT industrial crane in spans up to 52 feet (15.8 metres), a standard lift height of 29.5 feet (8.9 metres), and capacities up to 10 tons.

"This is a new channel in which a customer can directly input their requirements, and get a quote in minutes," says Edward Di Cesare, Director of Marketing, Industrial Equipment, Region Americas. "If you are clear on what you need, will generate a quote much faster than has ever been possible before."

Ordering speed also translates into faster delivery. After the customer receives their quote, they provide a credit application, a purchase order, approve a standard diagram and upload it to the site and the order will be processed. The crane will be shipped four weeks from the receipt of the purchase order and signed, approved drawing.

Speedy ordering and a four-week shipping window is an advantage for customers with any project where time is of the essence.

" is designed for customers who know what they want and feel comfortable buying online," says Di Cesare. "It is an easy process and a quick transaction. For customers who want a product that is totally turnkey, we can also provide a quote for shipping and installation."

Konecranes backs its Quick Ship cranes with a two-year manufacturer's warranty covering parts and labor, which increases to three years if Konecranes does the start-up of the crane.

Delivered complete with a single-profile steel girder, Quick Ship overhead cranes from Konecranes are available in 3-, 5-, 7.5- and 10-ton capacities, with either a 2-speed hoist or VFD inverter controls. The full-featured cranes also include Konecranes hand-held radio control with pendant backup, and the proven, low-headroom CXT hoist that improves hook approach and maximizes facility floor space. A plug and play festoon system and numerous safety features are all part of the package.

According to Di Cesare, can potentially save crane buyers countless hours of phone tag and days spent building relationships with vendors.

"Konecranes can provide this service for customers that understand who they are dealing with and know what they will get from us," says Di Cesare. "We are streamlining their purchasing process while still providing all the benefits of Konecranes technology, quality and service support."
