Konica Minolta Supports the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg

Associate Sponsorship Is Key Component of Comprehensive Sports Marketing Program

RAMSEY, NJ and ST PETERSBURG, FL--(Marketwire - February 18, 2009) - Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta), a leading provider of advanced imaging and networking technologies for the desktop to the print shop, announced it will support the 2009 Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg by serving as an associate sponsor and the official business machine provider for the four-day event that has become one of the more popular stops on the IndyCar Series.

In a partnership originally initiated between Konica Minolta Danka Imaging, Inc. (a wholly owned subsidiary acquired by Konica Minolta in 2008) and Andretti Green Promotions, the organization that owns and operates the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, Konica Minolta will also have corporate branding rights for both the Konica Minolta Media Center and the Konica Minolta Credential Center.

The Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, the first race on the 2009 IndyCar Series calendar, will be held April 3-5 on a 1.8 mile, 14-turn course through the streets of St. Petersburg. Featured races include the third-annual running of the Acura Sports Car Challenge of St. Petersburg American Le Mans Series race on Saturday, April 4, and the IndyCar Series Honda Indy St. Pete on Sunday, April 5. "As we continue to increase our sports marketing initiatives, we're excited to build strong relationships with well-known and highly regarded organizations such as Andretti Green Racing."
