Kontera Technologies Announces Additions to Management Team and Exploding Growth in Distribution of DynamiContext

DynamiContext™ Enables Web Publishers to Increase Their Advertising Revenue by Turning Existing Content Into Profit

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- July 25, 2005 -- Kontera Technologies, Inc., creators of DynamiContext™, the industry leading real-time contextual advertising solution for web publishers looking to increase advertising revenue, today announced additions to the company's management team, including Assaf Morag who will report directly to Founder and CEO Yoav Shaham as Managing Director. Morag will be in charge of Kontera's operations including bringing to market DynamiContext™, which was specifically developed for turning existing web content into profit for web publishers while providing an efficient way to generate ROI for advertisers. DynamiContext uses patent-pending technology to analyze web pages in real time, seamlessly determine the topics and keywords of each page, and then deliver advertisers' targeted messages that are relevant to the content.

Morag is a Medical Doctor with an MBA from Santa Clara University, and has 14 years of managerial experience successfully running technology companies. He was cofounder of Healinx Corp. (now RelayHealth), CEO and founder of Pegasus Medical (later sold to McKesson/HBOC), an executive vice president at HBOC, and a vice President in Elsevier, among positions at other companies. His depth of experience includes development and marketing of products as well as organizational restructuring.

Kontera has also recently announced the hiring of interactive media veteran Norm Page as VP, Technology Sales reporting to Mr. Morag and directly responsible for distribution of Kontera's DynamiContext™ solution. Mr. Page was most recently with DoubleClick Inc. where he was responsible for generating new business within the company's Agency Sales unit. Previous to DoubleClick, Inc., Mr. Page managed a national team of sales and account management individuals at Mail.com, which went public in 1999. In 1996, Mr. Page was the first sales and marketing hire at Flycast Communications, the creators of the first real-time ad serving technology and the web's leading direct response ad network. Flycast went public in 1999 and was eventually sold to CMGI for $2.3 billion in 2000.

Since launching its pay-for-performance ad network in Q1 earlier this year, Kontera has enjoyed unprecedented growth in the number of publishers using DynamiContext™ to better monetize site content. That number has swelled from a few dozen to well over 350 sites in popular content categories such as Computing, Finance, Auto, Games, and Travel. That number is sure to grow quickly as Kontera finalizes distribution agreements with major ad networks.

DynamiContext™ uses patent-pending technology to analyze web page content in real time, seamlessly determine the topics and keywords of each page, and then deliver the most relevant and highest performing advertisers' targeted messages. Web publishers can present the contextually relevant advertisements in two formats, AdLink or TextMatch, which can be used separately or in unison. AdLink appears as in-content hyperlinks, while TextMatch is displayed as text links within a traditional ad unit. Along with the amplified targeting and display capabilities, DynamiContext™ now brings publishers the highest paying and most targeted advertisers on the Internet. Kontera has developed one of the largest multi-source advertising options on the Internet by partnering with a wide variety of search engines, ad networks, ad agencies, and direct advertisers.
