KPLU Again Chooses Abacast to Power Their Streams

KPLU Will Use the Clarity® Digital Radio System for Online Radio Streaming, Media Player Hosting, Audience Metrics, and Royalty Reporting to Power Their News and Jazz Digital Radio Services

VANCOUVER, WA--(Marketwire - Dec 19, 2012) - Abacast, a provider of streaming and monetization software and services to the radio industry, announced that KPLU, and Jazz24, have re-signed with Abacast to use the Clarity® Digital Radio System for their digital radio offering.

Ranked as one of the top public radio stations in the nation, KPLU has been bringing award winning local and National Public Radio news, jazz, and blues to the Puget Sound region since 1966. Jazz24, their HD and online service, is a highly respected source of great jazz programming and followed nationwide. KPLU will be using specific components of the Clarity® Digital Radio System including hosting and streaming, the premier media player, audience metrics, and SoundExchange-compliant royalty reporting.
