a new initiative designed to provide support for the millions of Americans
living with diabetes. The initiative, Good Eating, Good Living, is a
syndicated radio show, ongoing direct mail publication and Website intended
for people with diabetes and their caregivers. There are currently more
than 14 million people in the United States diagnosed with diabetes(1), and
many more who are considered to have pre-diabetes. This effort is part of
the company's continued focus on programs that are most relevant for

The Good Eating, Good Living radio show is hosted by health and lifestyle
expert and registered physician assistant Amy Hendel, R-PA, features
segments with registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator, Edye
Wagner, RD, CDE, and is scheduled to air for 22 episodes beginning August
25 in cities across the country.
The show will provide positive support and solutions for listeners to help
them navigate the day-to-day challenges of dealing with diabetes. Each
episode will feature guest experts to address diabetes-related topics, meal
and recipe ideas, and nutrition and fitness tips. Listeners can call

nutrition questions will be answered on the air each week by Wagner.
