KRATON Announces Price Increases for KRATON® D Polymers in North America

HOUSTON--(CCNMatthews - Oct 13, 2005) -

KRATON Polymers LLC (KRATON) today announces a price increase in North America for its clear and oil extended SBS polymers of $0.05 cents per pound which will go into effect on November 14, 2005.

"Continued increases in raw material and energy costs, as well as tight supply of some key raw materials, have necessitated the need for this increase," said Kevin M. Fogarty, Executive Vice President.
