LA Legal Administrators to Host Annual Employment Law Forum

Morning Keynote Speaker Richard Simmons Expected to Draw 250 Attendees

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - January 12, 2011) - 250 members of the Los Angeles legal community are expected to attend the Employment Law Forum, a leading nonprofit legal education event in Los Angeles for legal management.

The Greater Los Angeles Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators (GLA ALA) will host its Annual Employment Law Forum Saturday, January 22 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel, located at 11461 Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles.

Partner Richard Simmons of Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP will keynote the morning session with an outspoken and candid update on 2011 employment laws.

Afternoon sessions will feature:
-Attorney Amy Messigian of Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP, on social media
-Partner Fred B. Griffin of Liner Grode Stein et. al., with a Q and A session, and
-Partner Beth Schroeder of Silver & Freedman, on avoiding employment litigation.

First Legal Support Services and over 40 business partners will offer cutting-edge exhibits, products and information.

Price to attend half day is $50 for members and $80 for non-ALA members. Full day is $80 for members and $110 for non-members. 5 hours CLM recertification credits will be issued for full-day participants. MCLE and HRCI credits pending approval.
