Laboratory and Health Technology Co., Medytox Solutions, Inc., Names Seamus Lagan New CEO

WEST PALM BEACH, FL--(Marketwired - Oct 29, 2014) - Medytox Solutions, Inc. (OTCBB: MMMS), a diversified healthcare company that owns and operates lab and health IT companies, announced today it named Seamus Lagan as CEO. He is a longtime consultant to private companies in the United States and abroad and previously served as CEO for three of Medytox's subsidiaries: Medytox Marketing and Sales, Inc., Medytox Diagnostics, Inc., and Medytox Information and Technology, Inc. In his expanded role, Mr. Lagan will concentrate on Medytox's national growth, increasing the company's offerings, identifying businesses for potential acquisition and investment, and growing Medytox's management team. In addition, he will continue to raise capital for the company.

Becoming CEO caps off a year of significant, positive change that has more than doubled the company's size. During the past year Mr. Lagan oversaw three acquisitions: a California-based laboratory; ClinLab, a lab information system; and Medical Mime, an electronic health records developer. The acquisitions along with organic growth increased employee headcount from 72 to more than 160 employees, including an information technology team of more than twenty people.
