Lake Shore Gold Issues 6,900,000 Flow-Through Common Shares Priced at $1.45 Per Share

Lake Shore Gold Corp. (TSX:LSG) (NYSE MKT:LSG) ("Lake Shore Gold" or the "Company") today announced the completion of a non-brokered private placement of 6,900,000 flow-through common shares ("Flow-Through Shares") sold at a price of $1.45 per Flow-Through Share for gross proceeds of $10,005,000.

The funds raised from the issuance of the Flow-Through Shares will be used for exploration expenditures in Canada and will constitute Canadian Exploration Expenditures as defined in the Income Tax Act.

The Flow-Through Shares issued with respect to this equity offering are subject to a four month hold period in accordance with applicable Canadian securities laws.
