Lamêlée Announces the Appointment of New President & CEO

The Board of directors of Lamêlée Iron Ore Ltd. ("Lamêlée" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:LIR) is pleased to announce, subject to the final acceptance of the TSX Venture Exchange (the "TSXV"), the appointment of Mr. Stéphane Leblanc as the new President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Lamêlée effective immediately. In connection with Mr. Leblanc's appointment, Mr. Hubert Vallée has resigned from his position as President and Chief Executive Officer of Lamêlée. Mr. Vallée will remain a director of the Corporation.

The Corporation also wish to announce that Mr. André La Flèche has rendered its resignation as Director of Lamêlée effective August 29, 2016. Lamêlée is very pleased to have had the opportunity to benefit from his participation on the board.
