LAN Argentina Begins Flights to Iguazu and Comodoro Rivadavia/Rio Gallegos

Effective September 3, 2005, LAN Argentina began daily operations between Buenos Aires and Puerto Iguazu. Flights are scheduled to depart Aeroparque Metropolitano in Buenos Aires daily at 12:15 p.m. with Saturday flights departing at 8:00 a.m. Return flights depart Puerto Iguazu daily at 2:50 p.m. with Saturday flights departing at 10:35 a.m.

In addition, on September 17, 2005, LAN Argentina will initiate a weekly flight between Buenos Aires and Comodoro Rivadavia/Rio Gallegos. The Saturday flight will depart Buenos Aires at 10:15 a.m. and the return flight will depart Rio Gallegos/Comodoro Rivadavia at 4:05 p.m.

Starting October 3, 2005, LAN Argentina will add a second daily flight to Puerto Iguazu with departures from Buenos Aires at 8:00 a.m. and 12:15 p.m., and return flights from Puerto Iguazu departing at 10:35 a.m. and 2:50 p.m.

On October 5, 2005, the airline will add another frequency between Buenos Aires and Comodoro Rivadavia/Rio Gallegos on Wednesdays with an 11:45 a.m. departure, and return flights from Rio Gallegos/Comodoro Rivadavia at 5:35 p.m.

LAN Argentina operates service from Buenos Aires with two daily frequencies to Mendoza, Cordoba and Bariloche. LAN service alliance members also operate in Argentina from Buenos Aires with eight daily frequencies to Santiago, one daily non-stop flight to Lima and two weekly non-stop flights to Quito and Guayaquil. They also service Santiago from Cordoba with 10 weekly flights, Rosario with a daily flight, Mendoza with two daily flights, and Bariloche with two weekly flights.
