Lander Energy Corporation Announces Transfer to NEX

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 9, 2010) - LANDER ENERGY CORPORATION (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:LAE.H) announces that as a result of the Company's inability to complete a qualifying transaction within the time period prescribed by the TSX Venture Exchange (the "TSXV"), the Company's listing was transferred to the NEX effective at the opening of trading on Monday July 5, 2010. The NEX is a separate board of the TSXV that provides a trading forum for listed companies that have fallen below the TSXV's ongoing listing standards. In addition, shareholders approved the cancellation of an aggregate of 500,000 seed shares of the Company held in escrow by non arm's length parties in accordance with the TSXV Policy 2.4-Capital Pool Companies.

The trading symbol for the Company has changed from LAE.P to LAE.H.

Lander continues actively to identify and evaluate alternative opportunities for the acquisition of an interest in properties, corporations, assets or businesses for the purpose of completing its qualifying transaction.
