Language Weaver Wins Fall 2009 Innovator Award From Global Service and Support Associations

Company Recognized for Leadership in "Closing the Consumption Gap"

LOS ANGELES, CA and LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - October 20, 2009) - Language Weaver, the leader in trusted automated translation solutions, today announced it has been named a Fall 2009 Recognized Innovator Winner by the Association for Services Management International (AFSMI), the Service & Support Professionals Association (SSPA) and the Technology Professional Services Association (TPSA) at the Technology Services World (TSW) conference taking place Oct. 19 - 21, in Las Vegas. As the winning Innovator in the Closing the Consumption Gap category, Language Weaver was honored for leveraging its technology and services to improve and accelerate product consumption by customers.

Customers that struggle to overcome rising complexity in products and services are not able to consume their purchases fully, making the repurchase cycle either longer or even nonexistent. Understanding the consumption gap is a key challenge for businesses, particularly reducing the time spent for appreciating a product or service's benefits and reducing the time of the next purchase.

Language Weaver was honored for its innovative, trusted automated translation technology which enables customer care executives to not only control automated translation on their own, but also control publishing of the translated content based on a recommendation from the Language Weaver system on the quality of the translation. One customer achieved significant support call deflection and increased site traffic by 70,000 visits in one month by translating self-serve customer support content for non-English speaking customers at a trusted level of quality.

"Language Weaver has clearly raised the bar for the entire service and support industry by successfully leveraging innovative technologies that deliver documented business impacts," said John Ragsdale, vice president of technology research for AFSMI, SSPA and TPSA.

"Language Weaver's unique approach for trusted automated translation preserves the brand promise for our customers by providing quality translations of support content for global customers," said Mark Tapling, president and chief executive officer for Language Weaver. "By delivering fact based support information to customers in their preferred language, companies are able to close the consumption gap and improve brand loyalty and customer satisfaction, which drives significant benefits to the business' bottom line."
