Lapolla and ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" Erie, PA Project

With the rampant disrepair of a crumbling two-story home -- including a cracked foundation, a leaky roof, peeling walls and a faulty sewage line -- it was apparent to Maleno Development and the "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" team that Clara Ward of Erie, PA needed a new energy-efficient home. Lapolla donated the spray foam insulation material, an important building component that contributes to the sustainability of a home.

Spray foam insulation is a spray-applied thermal insulation material used in wall cavities, floor assemblies, ceiling assemblies, and in attic and crawl space applications. When properly installed, this advanced insulation system leads to energy efficiency, improved occupant comfort, a cleaner indoor environment, and greater noise reduction for building and home owners.
