LaPolla Appoints New CFO
Brings Diversified Multi-National Chemical Manufacturing Infrastructure Experience

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - June 11, 2007) - LaPolla Industries, Inc. ("LaPolla" or the
"Company") (AMEX : LPA ) announced today the appointment of Timothy J. Novak,
CPA, as its new Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Novak has more than 19 years of professional finance, accounting, and
audit experience. During this time, he has held several senior financial
positions in manufacturing and distribution companies and is experienced
with the financial reporting of a publicly listed company. His last
position was Director of Financial Reporting for Huntsman Corporation, a
$13 Billion diversified chemical manufacturer. Mr. Novak earned his BSBA in
Accounting from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
