LaPolla Delays Second Quarter Fiscal 2007 10-Q Filing

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - August 14, 2007) - LaPolla Industries, Inc. ("LaPolla") (AMEX : LPA ) has filed a Form 12b-25 with the Securities and Exchange Commission
today for an automatic five-day extension to file its Quarterly Report on
Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2007. The Company requires
additional time to finalize its financial statements due to the transition
in independent auditors. On July 12, 2007, as previously announced, the
company engaged Hein & Associates LLP.
