Largo Announces Addition to Management Team and Advisory Board

Brazil-based Kurt Menchen appointed to Management team, Natal Mendes joins advisory board

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 22, 2007) - Largo Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:LGO) is pleased to announce that Brazil-based and former Desert Sun mining executive Kurt Menchen has been appointed to Largo's management team as General Manager of Brazilian operations. Kurt's mandate is to oversee the on-the-ground development of the company's Maracas Vanadium-PGM project in Bahia.

Currently a member of the advisory board, Kurt was Vice President of Operations for Desert Sun Mining in Brazil. He is a seasoned mining engineer with over 30 years of experience. He joined Desert Sun in 2001 as Exploration Manager in Brazil and oversaw Jacobina's re-development and operations right up until the acquisition of the asset by Yamana Resources last year.

Largo is also pleased to announce that Mr. Natal Mendes (also based in Brazil) has agreed to join the company's advisory board. A senior Consultant to the Mining and Oil & Gas Industries, Natal is a geologist with more than 40 years of experience. He graduated in 1966 from the Federal University of Bahia, Brazil, and got an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at MIT in 1974. Natal worked for more than 25 years as senior executive of the Odebrecht Group, the largest contractor and petrochemical producer in Latin America, with senior assignments in the UK, USA, South America and West Africa. Besides his consulting activities, Natal is presently also a Director of Brasoil do Brasil Exploracao Petrolifera S.A., a newly formed independent Exploration & Production company in Brazil.
