Las Vegas and Berlin Play Host to NetPro's Expanded Experts Conference in 2009

The Directory Experts Conference Becomes The Experts Conference for Directory & Identity and Exchange; NetPro Now Accepting Presentation Proposals Through Call for Papers

PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwire - June 18, 2008) - Building on its powerful Directory Experts Conference brand, NetPro Computing, Inc., today introduced both a new name and an expanded focus for its eighth annual industry conference.

The Directory Experts Conference (DEC) is now called The Experts Conference (TEC) for Directory & Identity, and it will be hosted in 2009 alongside its new sister conference, The Experts Conference (TEC) for Exchange. Designed for the most experienced users of Microsoft directory and identity and messaging technologies, the conferences will be offered in two cities in 2009. The Green Valley Ranch Resort in Las Vegas will play host to The Experts Conferences for Directory & Identity and Exchange March 22-25, 2009. The Experts Conferences Europe will be held at the Hilton Berlin in Berlin, Germany, September 14-16.

"We founded the conference seven years ago around a vision: Deliver powerful Active Directory-related education for the experts, by the experts. Over the years, that focus has grown to include identity, but the 'for the experts by the experts' vision has never wavered," said NetPro Expert in Residence and conference founder, Gil Kirkpatrick. "With the strong pace of change in the Exchange space and the need for more in-depth training and education around this critical technology, we decided it was time to break out and bring The Experts Conference to the Exchange market as well."

Las Vegas and Berlin will feature two distinct conferences, presented by NetPro and sponsored by Microsoft. The Experts Conference (TEC) for Directory & Identity 2009 will provide advanced education on business-critical Identity and Access (IDA) technologies, including Active Directory, Identity Lifecycle Manager (ILM), Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), and Rights Management Services (RMS). "Identity without Borders: Bringing the Identity Meta System into the Enterprise" will serve as the theme and centerpiece for the directory and identity conference.

The Experts Conference (TEC) for Exchange will feature intense session content and keynotes focused on its own theme: "Under the Hood: Architecting and Administering Exchange 2007, the Foundation for Unified Communications." Sessions will cover everything from Exchange development and scripting to archiving, recovery and storage with three full days of advanced education for delegates.

"Our return delegates will find the same cutting-edge directory and identity education they have come to expect from the Directory Experts Conference," Kirkpatrick said. "And our new Exchange Conference delegates will find out what it's like to learn from the best in the business. This isn't ABCs -- it's XYZs that they won't learn anywhere else." TEC 2009 will feature a wide variety of workshops, keynotes, conference sessions, and roundtable discussions lead by Microsoft MVPs, program managers and industry experts.

NetPro has officially opened its "Call for Papers" process, accepting proposals that complement the event themes. Individuals seeking consideration for presentation opportunities at the event must submit by 5:00 p.m. MST August 4, 2008. (Complete details are available at Speakers selected through the TEC 2009 Call for Papers process will be announced in a NetPro press release on August 25, 2008, the same date on which NetPro will unveil the agenda and keynotes for both conferences, as well as online registration for the Las Vegas Conferences. Vendors interested in sponsoring the Directory & Identity and Exchange conferences are encouraged to visit The Experts Conference website for more details as well.

TEC 2009 is offered on a tiered pricing schedule that includes all food, beverages and conference materials.
