Las Vegas Cat Clinic Announces Free Second-Opinion Exam

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - Nov 13, 2011) - All About Cats Veterinary Hospital announced that the vet clinic offers free, second opinions for cats that have previously seen another veterinarian. The second-opinion special service is designed to give cat owners peace of mind that they are making informed decisions regarding the care and treatment of their cats. In order to receive a free evaluation of a cat's health condition and treatment, pet owners must bring a receipt or records from a previous veterinary visit at a different clinic within the last three months. In addition to second opinion evaluations, the Las Vegas cat clinic provides comprehensive wellness services, surgical care, treatments for feline health conditions, grooming and boarding for cats.

Dr. Terri Koppe, a Las Vegas veterinarian with All About Cats Veterinary Hospital, announced that the clinic offers free, second-opinion consultations, which is a $44 value. "While we never doubt the credibility and training of other veterinarians, our focus only on cats allows us to offer an elevated level of service to cat owners," said Dr. Koppe "If cat owners have any questions about their cat's treatment options or diagnosis from another pet hospital, we are always happy to offer our second opinion free of charge to help with the decision making process."

According to Dr. Koppe, the Las Vegas cat hospital provides a quiet, peaceful and calm space for cats, away from distractions like dogs, which is essential for helping cats relax and feel comfortable during an examination.

"Our focus only on treating cats ensures that our cat clinic is up to date on the latest feline veterinary treatments and protocol," said Dr. Koppe. "With a second opinion from our vet clinic, pet owners can enjoy peace of mind knowing their cat is receiving the best possible care for his or her health and wellness needs."

"If owners have already spent money on one exam, there's no reason to spend more on a second one!" said Dr. Koppe. "As a cat vet, my goal is to ensure that cats receive the highest quality care. We would never want a cat owner to be uncertain about making a choice in their cat's health. Having a second opinion from a cat-only veterinarian often helps cat owners to understand all the options and make informed decisions."

In addition to the free second-opinion consultation, the cat hospital is also offering a new patient special. Until November 30, new patients can save $24 on their first visit to the hospital by mentioning the clinic's special online promotion when scheduling the appointment.

In addition to providing these specials as a way to help cat owners make healthcare decisions, the staff at All About Cats Veterinary Hospital also helps out in the community. The Las Vegas veterinary team will be participating in the December 3 "Great Santa Run." The run requires all participants to run in Santa suits and the veterinary staff will also be wearing cat-themed accessories to "cat-up" the event. Attracting more than 10,000 runners dressed in Santa suits each year, the run raises money for Opportunity Village, a non-profit that benefits individuals with intellectual disabilities.
