Las Vegas Ophthalmologist and Cataract Surgeon Announces Opening of New Eyes Centennial Hills Location

Dr. Helga Pizio Says the New Eyes Location in Centennial Offers Greater Convenience for Patients in Surrounding Areas and Will Be Equipped for a Variety of Advanced Treatments

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwired - Sep 14, 2016) - A comprehensive vision correction and eye care practice with multiple offices in the Las Vegas area is opening the doors on a new location in Centennial Hills. Dr. Helga F. Pizio, a Las Vegas eye surgeon and the founder of New Eyes, says the new office will provide greater convenience for patients in the Northwest to access the many services provided by the practice. "The Las Vegas Valley has seen exciting growth over the last decade. The Northwest area of Centennial in particular is experiencing a construction boom of highways, businesses, and housing developments. Our current New Eyes offices, though located conveniently for most people in central Las Vegas and in the Summerlin and Green Valley areas, were simply too far for many of our Northwest patients."

Dr. Pizio says the new Centennial location should rectify that problem. She notes that the New Eyes Centennial Hills office is located in the medical building next to the Centennial Hills hospital. The new location will offer a comprehensive range of general eye and vision care treatments, as well as refractive cataract surgery, corneal surgery, and procedures to address eye conditions such as glaucoma, Dry Eye Syndrome, and many others. The office is located at 6850 N. Durango Drive (Suite 106) in Las Vegas and opened on September 6th, 2016.

As well as offering many of the same services patients can expect at New Eyes' Central Las Vegas location, Dr. Pizio says the same team of eye care providers will be seeing patients at the Centennial office. The team includes new addition Roman Fajardo, MD. Dr. Fajardo trained at the Shiley Eye Institute at UC-San Diego. Dr. Pizio says he is an expert in refractive cataract surgery, eyelid rejuvenation, and medical eye problems such as dry eyes, diabetes, and glaucoma.

Dr. Pizio notes that the new facility is state-of-the-art and is designed for patients' comfort. She says the Centennial location will ultimately continue the New Eyes mission of providing patients with advanced diagnostic and treatment techniques that can help them successfully improve their vision.
