Las Vegas Ophthalmology Practice Moves to New, State-of-the-Art Facility

New Eyes of Las Vegas Is Moving Into a Brand New Office Adjacent to Alta Rose Surgery Center in Order to Provide Vision and Eye Care Patients All-Inclusive Ophthalmology Services

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwired - Aug 13, 2013) - New Eyes, an ophthalmology practice serving Southern Nevada, has announced that its Las Vegas office will be moving down the street to 501 S. Rose St., Suite 150, Las Vegas, NV 89106. The new suite is directly adjacent to Alta Rose Surgery Center, making this combination of facilities the only location in Las Vegas to offer comprehensive eye care services ranging from eye exams to the latest ocular surgeries available. According to New Eyes, the move is in celebration of the practice's fifth anniversary, and the new office will be open to patients beginning September 3rd -- the day after Labor Day.

Dr. Helga F. Pizio, an experienced cataract surgeon and the founder of New Eyes, says the goal of the move was to combine the best patient care with the best patient experience. Designed in accordance with their Summerlin office, the new Las Vegas office features a variety of aesthetic and functional upgrades along with the latest diagnostic equipment and new audio/video technology to aid patient education. Additionally, the office will be two times the size of the practice's current Las Vegas office, which Dr. Pizio says will enable them to offer twice as many examination lanes and accommodate new doctors joining the practice.

In regard to the new location, Dr. Pizio says she could not be more excited about the opportunities the new office presents for her and her fellow ophthalmologists to enhance the level of care they are able to provide. She notes that their proximity to Alta Rose Surgery Center grants them convenient access to the most advanced equipment and technologies available to eye surgeons, including:

  • LenSx® Femtosecond Laser
  • ORA WaveScan®
  • VISX LASIK Laser Suite
  • Haag-Streit Slit Lamps
  • Zeiss CIRRUS OCT™
  • YAG and SLT Lasers

Concerning vision and eye care, Dr. Pizio says having a modern facility, a well-trained staff, and direct access to the latest technological advancements in ophthalmology are all vital components to ultimately achieving the most effective results for each and every patient. She adds that she looks forward to the opening of the new office on September 3rd, and she hopes eye care patients all over Las Vegas take advantage of the facility's unique offerings.
