ONTARIO, CA--(Marketwire - Jun 7, 2012) - Laser App Software, the leading provider of forms automation and management software for the securities and insurance industries, today announced the focus of its 2012 Broker-Dealer Conference. The Laser App Broker-Dealer Conference is designed to bring broker-dealer executives into a collaborative environment where they can learn about new technology, watch live demonstrations of integrated solutions, discuss industry trends and network with peers. Laser App customer R.J. Wood, of J.W. Cole Financial, Inc., remarks: "The Laser App Broker-Dealer Conference has proven time and again to be a valuable forum providing opportunities to learn about technological advancements within multiple disciplines of the financial services industry. The Laser App team continually provides an open, positive, high-energy forum to address current industry needs, concerns and solutions in a way that allows attendees to obtain candid feedback from colleagues throughout the industry."

Historically, Laser App's conference has been an important venue for Laser App and its partners to announce new integrations and product innovations. In 2011, Laser App announced its commitment for the industry to move toward straight-through processing and initiatives the firm has taken to facilitate that end. This year's conference features the unveiling of the "advisor project," in addition to updates on the status of straight-through processing in the industry. The relaxed conference atmosphere is highlighted with an evening dinner cruise around San Diego harbor and sentiments of keynote speaker, Navy Seal, Lieutenant Commander Rorke Denver, from the film, "Act of Valor."

Robert Powell, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Laser App Software, comments: "Our conference, typically attended by over 100 broker-dealers, is engineered to facilitate answers and provide software solutions for independent broker-dealers and the technology providers on which they depend. We help broker-dealers identify and address the issues that matter most in a comfortable setting. Our aim is to provide broker-dealers with access to cutting edge technology that moves the industry toward integrated solutions, while setting the standard for straight-through processing and reduction of not-in-good order."

Laser App maintains a library of forms for the securities and insurance industries and continuously adds availability to new and updated forms. The Laser App library currently houses 29,005 forms including 8,925 in-house forms from over 340 top broker/dealers and continues to develop relationships with new carriers to make their forms available on a user‐friendly platform that auto‐populates them directly from a CRM system or customer database to streamline heavy paperwork process while reducing not-in-good order (NIGO) rates.
