Last Call for Nominations for the 5th Annual Spirit of the Entrepreneur Awards

SAN BERNARDINO, CA--(Marketwire - August 20, 2007) - Last-minute nominations for the 2007 Spirit of the Entrepreneur Awards program sponsored by The Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship (IECE) at California State University, San Bernardino and The Business Press must be submitted by August 31, 2007.

The Spirit of the Entrepreneur Awards program is an annual event that recognizes the spirit of being an entrepreneur by inspiring its audience. Inland Empire leaders gather to honor and reward the businessmen and women. Nominations are focused on individuals who exhibit outstanding entrepreneurial leadership, passion, creativity and vision.

Inland Empire entrepreneurs are eligible for nomination in the following eight categories: Emerging Entrepreneur, Technology Entrepreneur, Social Entrepreneur, Innovator Entrepreneur, Supporter of Entrepreneurship, Family Business Entrepreneur, General Entrepreneur and Corporate Entrepreneur.

All completed applications will be reviewed by a pre-selected independent judging panel exemplifying the spirit of the Inland Empire entrepreneur. Nominations will be accepted through August 31, 2007. Forms are available online at www.inlandspiritawards.com or by calling (909) 537-3708.

The winners will be announced at the 5th Annual Spirit of the Entrepreneur Awards, a black-tie gala dinner celebration at the Riverside Convention Center on November 14, 2007.
