SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - September 8, 2010) -  SLI Systems, provider of on-demand, intelligent search services for Internet and e-commerce sites, announced today that the latest Ecommerce Podcast (www.ecommercepodcast.com) interview features Larry Joseloff, vice president of content for Shop.org, the trade association for digital retailers. In the podcast, host Shaun Ryan, CEO of SLI Systems, and Joseloff discuss the upcoming Shop.org Summit, which takes place September 27-29 in Dallas.

"This year, the Shop.org Summit includes a track on mobile best practices, responding to online retailers' demands for strategies and tactics around m-commerce," Joseloff said.

"Mobile is very hot right now -- it reminds me of where we were with social media a few years ago," Joseloff explained. "Retailers realize that this is something they need to learn more about -- there's a real thirst for knowledge on this topic." The mobile track will feature sessions on the Apple iPad shopping experience, taking luxury brands mobile, and building a mobile commerce strategy.

Joseloff said the Summit's attendees are also keen to learn about business ideas they can put into use immediately. This year's tactics tracks includes a two-part session called "40+ Things You Can Do to Make More Money Next Week."

"This session is about specific, actionable ideas you can use to make money now," Joseloff said. "These are tactics that can be implemented very quickly, are free, and can earn you money right away."

The Shop.org Summit also features tracks on cross-channel optimization and the customer experience. This year's keynote speakers include Mike Murphy, vice president of global sales for Facebook; Rob Solomon, president and COO for Groupon; and Southwest Airlines' Colleen C.
