LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Dec 18, 2013) - Laudville, an entertainment platform for sharing and discovering entertainment with friends, today announced the appointment of John J. Rosati to its board of advisors.
Rosati is managing partner of Faust-Rosati Associates LLC, a management-consulting firm that helps CEOs, boards of directors and investors to utilize opportunities and assess challenges created by innovation and rapid technological change. His experience spans 28 years as a CEO, CTO, and senior executive directing high-tech systems. Rosati is also an experienced aerospace engineer and startup founder. He specializes in technology management, transfer, conversion and commercialization.
"Laudville is poised for rapid growth and adoption," said Rosati. "It is the only platform in the entertainment industry that aggregates and curates content from top sources like iTunes, Hulu, Amazon and YouTube, while helping fans share their opinions and best picks with friends. Other platforms do some of what Laudville does, but Laudville is the only platform to wrap it all into a single package, with quality offerings and mass appeal."
"John's experience helping technology companies such as Advanced Sciences Inc. and Bainbridge Technology Group, among others, will lend us invaluable operational insight as we drive Laudville to the top of its field," said Phoebe B. Scott, CEO and founder at Laudville. "He's an esteemed advisor whose speaking engagements range from universities and businesses to the United Nations. He's known for his expertise in applying technical, financial and commercial due-diligence to execute successful technology business plans."
Rosati holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and has served the University in many capacities, including as a member of the board of trustees of the UCLA Foundation, a member of the Computer Science Alumni Advisory Board, chairman of the Physics Advisory Council, and Cognitive Science Advisory Council. He is also a member of four other advisory boards at UCLA.
Rosati is the third new board advisor to be named this month, following the appointments of technology visionary, Gene Chuang, and investing consultant, David Levine.
Laudville is the only platform that socializes, organizes and curates digital entertainment, including movies, books, TV shows and music. CEO Phoebe B. Scott founded Laudville in 2012, after she recognized the need for a place to recommend and share entertainment with friends and tastemakers. For more information visit www.laudville.com.
