LaunchKey Announces New Software Upgrades

API Integrations for Web and Mobile Applications and Updated Plugins Now Available

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwired - December 03, 2013) - LaunchKey, a company providing a secure and anonymous multi-factor authentication platform through smartphones and tablets to allow users to sign in or authenticate on websites, applications and networked systems, has announced the immediate availability of new API integrations for web and mobile applications, as well as three updated plugins. The LaunchKey platform consists of a central RESTful API with a multitude of software development kits, plugins and protocol integrations that enable quick integration for clients, in addition to native mobile apps on every major mobile platform for end users.

LaunchKey's technology addresses the inherent weakness in passwords and improves privacy and security by decentralizing credentials from personally identifying information through the use of multi-factor authentication. LaunchKey is exposing the vulnerabilities inherent in passwords and revolutionizing the way companies and individuals gain access to online information and content. By shifting the layer of authentication out-of-band to an end user's device, LaunchKey can bypass the need to store personal data in the cloud, drastically decreasing the risk to end users.

For end users, LaunchKey offers updated native smartphone and tablet apps, available for free from the Apple App Store and Google Play, with a Windows Phone app available within the month. For developers, LaunchKey offers web software development kits (SDKs) in a variety of languages including Java, JavaScript, PHP, Python, Ruby and .NET along with mobile SDKs in Java (Android) and Objective-C (iOS). In addition to plugins for WordPress, Drupal and Magento, LaunchKey can be used with common protocols including OAuth, OpenID and PAM.

"Providing the most up-to-date and secure technologies for developers and organizations is our primary goal," said LaunchKey CEO and Co-Founder Geoff Sanders. "By continually updating our portfolio of offerings we are able to provide more organizations with a means to access and protect company files, applications, websites and network infrastructure."

This new generation of secure and anonymous multi-factor authentication offers organizations, developers and individuals enhanced security, which leads to decreased corporate financial liability and personal exposure. For more information about LaunchKey, visit
