Laurier Glass: Toward Higher Productivity and Greater Operational Efficiency

Government of Canada supports Lotbinière firm's growth


LAURIER-STATION, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Dec. 17, 2014) - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)

Acting on behalf of the Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, Jacques Gourde, Member of Parliament for Lotbinière-Chutes-de-la-Chaudière and Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister, for Official Languages and for the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that Laurier Glass Ltd has been granted financial assistance to conduct various activities aimed at raising the company's productivity.

This assistance has been awarded in the form of a $200,000 repayable contribution through CED's Quebec Economic Development Program.

  • The funding will enable Laurier Glass Ltd to acquire and implement a specialized enterprise resource planning (ERP) software system to increase the firm's operational efficiency.

  • A family-run company established in 1950, Laurier Glass has made a name for itself in the processing of glass using innovative processes and products.
