Law Enforcement Associates Launches Multi-City Training Series for New Birddog(TM) GPS Tracking Product

YOUNGSVILLE, NC--(Marketwire - August 29, 2007) - Law Enforcement Associates Corporation
(LEA) (AMEX : AID ), a leading provider of surveillance and security products

today announced it has scheduled a series of training seminars focused on
usage of the company's new Birddog™ covert GPS tracking system. The
sessions, which are only open to select, pre-qualified members of the law
enforcement community, will be held during the coming weeks in Denver,
Colorado; Seattle, Washington; St. Louis, Missouri; Tucson, Arizona and
Fort Worth, Texas.

and functions, and will provide prospective customers an opportunity to see
the product in action. In light of the growing demand we are seeing for

received orders for approximately 90 systems with a combined value of more
than $625,000. The Birddog is the latest addition to an extensive line of
