Law Society Tribunal Decisions

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 19, 2007) - The Law Society regulates the legal profession in the public interest.

As part of this mandate, the Law Society's Hearing and Appeal Panels recently heard the following matters. Hearing and Appeal Panels are composed of Law Society benchers - lawyers and lay people who are responsible for determining the appropriate disposition of cases.

Ian Neil McLean (1978), of the City of North Bay

Decision: The Lawyer is reprimanded. The lawyer must comply with the terms and conditions set out in the Order.

Richard Ian Kesten (1974), of the City of Toronto

Decision: Mr. Kesten's licence is revoked.
