Law Society Tribunal Decisions

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 21, 2007) - The Law Society regulates the legal profession in the public interest.

As part of this mandate, the Law Society's Hearing and Appeal Panels recently heard the following matters. Hearing and Appeal Panels are composed of Law Society benchers - lawyers and lay people who are responsible for determining the appropriate disposition of cases.

Adam John Bull (1986), of the City of Toronto

Decision: Member suspended for three months commencing September 11, 2007. Member is allowed to resign his membership within 3 months, failing which he shall be disbarred.

Steven Gary Kaminker (1986), of the City of Toronto

Decision: Licensee is suspended for 2 months, commencing at the conclusion of his current administrative suspension, and continuing indefinitely until certain terms and conditions have been met.
