Law Society Tribunal Decisions

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 16, 2007) - The Law Society regulates the legal profession in the public interest.

As part of this mandate, the Law Society's Hearing and Appeal Panels recently heard the following matters. Hearing and Appeal Panels are composed of Law Society benchers - lawyers and lay people who are responsible for determining the appropriate disposition of cases.

George Douglas Hunter (1974), of the City of Ottawa

Decision: Member suspended for 60 days to commence on February 5, 2007 or such other date as may be agreed upon by the Law Society and the Member

Paulos Luizos (1998), of the City of Toronto

Decision: Member reprimanded
