Lawson Delivers Enhanced Healthcare Revenue Cycle and Patient Billing Management System to Improve Financial Performance

Increased Application Security and Automated Billing Processes Enable Faster, More Accurate Decision Making in a Secure Environment

PAUL, MN--(Marketwire - Feb 22, 2012) - Lawson Software, an Infor affiliate, today announced the availability of an enhanced version of Lawson Healthcare Revenue Management, previously Lawson MediAR, a rules-based automated revenue cycle management application for healthcare organizations. Lawson's Healthcare Revenue Management automates manual processes, providing clean and correct claims, and has built in tools to provide efficiencies around searching for follow-up issues, processing remittances and denials, and generating collection statements, letters and work queue ticklers. Users are able to proactively manage the revenue cycle for maximum efficiency and profitability and make more informed and effective decisions to improve their patient billing processes. The Healthcare Revenue Management application leverages the Lawson Cloverleaf Integration Engine to quickly and easily access patient demographic and procedure charge information from any clinical registration or ADT system, increasing efficiencies by reducing administrative costs. Additionally, the new release provides an improved, customizable user experience delivering a common look-and-feel for ease of use and increased productivity.

Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, the largest single-site hospital in Canada treating 1.2 million patients every year, implemented the technology to simplify its billing processes and manage patient reports.
