LAWSUIT FILED AGAINST LEADING BAY ST. LAW FIRM

INVESTOR ALLEGES LAW FIRM, CASSELS BROCK, AND PARTNER PLAYED PART IN FRAUDULENT INVESTMENT SCHEME Attention: Assignment Editor, Business/Financial Editor, City Editor, News Editor, World News Editor TORONTO, ONTARIO --(CCNMatthews - March 8, 2005) - An investor from Chicago, Illinois has sued the law firm of Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP, its former Managing Partner, Gregory J. Peebles and their former client, Robert Hryniak, for losses arising out of a fraudulent investment scheme. The suit alleges that Cassels Brock and Mr. Peebles were used by their client, Robert Hryniak, to add an air of credibility and plausibility to a fraudulent investment scheme that has resulted in a loss of millions of dollars to a number of investors across North America.

Law enforcement authorities have been notified about the scheme. Charges have already been laid by the RCMP against a number of people involved, including Robert Cranston of London, Ontario, an alleged participant in the scheme.
