LAX Names Rose Garden to Honor 50-Year Employee

LOS ANGELES, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 23, 2006 --


WHAT:

In recognition of 50 years of service to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and the City of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) will name its rose garden at the Clifton Albert Moore Administration Building today after Ethel Pattison. Pattison has the most years of service of any active employee at LAWA. She was instrumental in developing the airport's tour and education program.

Ceremony set at the conclusion of the Board of Airport Commissioner's meeting, which begins at 1:30 p.m.

Clifton A. Moore Administration Building at LAX
1 World Way, east side of building
WHO:

Los Angeles International Airport executive staff and Ethel Pattison

PARKING:

Television and radio broadcast-equipped vehicles ONLY will be allowed to park in the employee parking lot across the street from the Clifton A. Moore Administration Building. All other media should use the visitor parking lot or park in Parking Structure 1. Parking will be validated.
