LAZYPANTS Moves Production to Toronto

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - June 26, 2014) - LAZYPANTS, a Toronto-based line of premium comfortwear, is thrilled to be able to add a "Made in Canada" label to all future products, as production is moved home to the Greater Toronto Area from Istanbul, Turkey.

Launched in early 2012, LAZYPANTS offers an extensive line of seriously-soft tees, sweatshirts, and, of course, sweatpants. LAZYPANTS has built their brand on designing clothing exclusively for "the after". After work, after a date, after the gym - after literally anything, really.

The line's undeniably dreamy fabrics and fits have created a loyal following, including a number of A-list celebrities such as Mila Kunis, Demi Moore, Kourtney Kardashian, Cody Simpson and Alessandra Ambrosio. The ever-increasing demand for the product made moving production to Canada seem like the natural next step. This move will allow for increased quality control, improved distribution channels, and shorter lead times on orders. What LAZYPANTS is most proud of, however, is the opportunity to play a role in the revival of Canadian clothing manufacturing, and the creation of new employment opportunities for fellow Canadians.

So will the move to Canada mean that LAZYPANTS will become even more comfortable? As Adam Bledin, the creative force behind the brand, says: "It is difficult to improve upon perfection, but, trust me, we're always trying."
