Ms. Carr, who comes to New York City from "across the pond," will now be based out of IconNicholson's Manhattan office, where she will lead the LBi-owned, full-service digital agency's US operations, and pave the way for its full integration with Special Ops Media, a leading interactive agency acquired by LBi in 2008, as well as its subsequent rebranding under the LBi umbrella. Prior to her promotion as Managing Director, a position created specifically for her, Ms. Carr served as Client Partner for LBi where she was responsible for managing a significant sector of the organization. During her enormously well-regarded tenure in this post, she tripled the size of the British Telecom account, one of the agency's most significant pieces of business, generating a 41% increase in sales through and increasing conversion by 34%. Ms. Carr also accumulated D&AD and Webby Awards in recognition of campaigns developed for Inbev's Brahma beer and Sony Computer Entertainment Europe; as well, she secured a number of internationally renowned accounts, among them Garanti Bank, Starbucks and Unilever.Ms. Carr first joined LBi in 2004 when it acquired and merged full-service digital agencies Framfab and Wheel, where she worked at the time.
