Leaders of Canadian Telecom Associations Named to Canada's Telecommunications Hall of Fame Board of Governors

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 17, 2007) - Canada's Telecommunications Hall of Fame (CTHoF) Foundation is pleased to announce its first round of appointments to its Board of Governors. Mr. Michael Dunlop past President and CEO Unigistix (a UTi Worldwide Company) becomes Chairman of the Board, joined by Mr. Peter Barnes, President and CEO of the Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association, Mr. Bernard Courtois, President and CEO of Information Technology Association of Canada and Ms. Stephanie MacKendrick, President of Canadian Women in Communications. The newly appointed Governors will assist Canada's Telecommunications Hall of Fame Founder, Mr. Lorne Abugov in identifying additional candidates to complete the Board of Governors.

Canada's Telecommunications Hall of Fame Foundation is a federally- registered not-for-profit charitable corporation established to support Canada's Telecommunications Hall of Fame - a separate not-for-profit organization. Members of the newly appointed CTHoF Foundation Board of Governors will convene in the Fall 2007 prior to the Hall of Fame's Telecom Laureate Awards Gala, in Montreal, on October 16th. 2007.
